About Us

BMC Solar is a San Diego based solar PV company that custom-designs and installs solar panel systems that produce electricity. Their staff is one of the most experienced in the state, and has won awards for the quality of its installations. BMC Solar installers have and continue to receive certified manufacturer training from a wide variety of solar industry leaders including SunPower, Sharp, Enphase, SMA. They are constantly training their staff in keeping up with the latest National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and techniques.

Solar PV panels from various manufacturers like: SunPower, Sharp, Kyocera, Siliken and others. Inverters by SMA, PV Powered, SATCON, Enphase Microinverters. Also they install monitoring systems. They do a custom site analysis and recommendations that lead to award-winning design and installation.

Certifications/Awards

Brian Meitzler has won Sunpower's 1st ever "Intellegant" (a combination of intellegent and elegant) award in 2007, then was runner-up in both 2008 and 2009. This is a national award.
