Established in 2005, Revosol is engaged in the design, installation, and sale of a solar electric system, serving the residential market, commercial, and the federal government. The company started as a mail order business with a national reach, and a customer base over 2500, selling energy efficient consumer products. As the the demand for renewable energy increased, they have decided to focus their attention on the rapidly growing solar electric market.

System costs are priced per watt. An average system size is between 2000-3000 Watts. The cost per watt is around $9-10, for a system that is only grid-tied, meaning that it connects to the utility. The next level is between $12-$14 per watt, for a system that is either grid-tied with battery backup, or non grid-tied (stand alone system). A site survey must be performed, to know if a system can be installed at your location. The cost of a site survey is $99, which goes toward the purchase of a system. Current federal tax incentives allow you to purchase and install a system, and get 30% tax credit with no cap for both residential and commercial installed systems.
