About Us

The Alternative Energy Company designs and installs solar and wind generator systems throughout Missouri and NW Arkansas for the residential and commercial market. Their solar systems include both photovoltaic power generation systems, and solar thermal (both hot water and air). They design both on-grid systems for customers who want to offset their power usage but remain tied to the grid, and off-grid systems for customers in remote locations or with outbuildings where running power would be costly. They also conduct residential energy inspections and auditors.

Their staff includes an engineer, master electrician, two certified energy auditors, as well as an experienced installation team. They are authorized distributors for two of the largest alternative energy suppliers, and are able to source proven technology at reasonable costs.
