Solar Panel Plus has announced that it will be integrating its solar panel technologies with grid-tied inverters from Solectria Renewable LLC as part of the new partnership.
Together, the products from the two companies will make it easier for customers to install solar paneling technologies and take advantage of net-metering while decreasing their reliance on traditionally purchased electricity.
"Solar Panels Plus is thrilled to be working closely with Solectria to integrate their award-winning grid-tied inverters with our PV panels," said John Williams, COO of Solar Panels Plus. "Many residential and commercial accounts today are already experiencing a considerable amount of cost savings from a simple installation of our products."
The idea of "net-metering" allows extra solar electricity gathered by the panels to be stored back into a utility company's power grid for later use.
James Warden, the CEO of Solectria, added that the combination of their grids and SPP's panels will help to expand the popularity of the environmentally friendly energy production methods to all walks of life.
