One topic that will likely headline the event will be discussion on how to handle the market potential for solar power throughout North America in the wake of new political and financial support the industry has received in the last year.
A press release announcing the summit reported that solar projects getting underway in 2010 could result in projects generating thousands of megawatts in solar power for use across the continent.
"We are extremely excited about this year's summit, it couldnt have come at a more pertinent time. The CSP industry in North America is poised for massive growth as projects finally begin to move through the certification phase and into development," said Joshua Bull, the summit's organizer.
Other issues that will be broached during the two-day summit will be discussions experience gained by those who have been utilizing concentrated solar power, analysis into new techniques to store energy, and the latest technologies and innovations throughout the industry, the event's website reported.
