SunRun to offer residential solar energy service in New Jersey

Posted 2 years ago in the Solar Energy category by Nate Lew
In an attempt to broaden the use of solar panels from primarily corporate entities to residential homes, residential solar energy company SunRun has announced that it is expanding its service into New Jersey.

Residents in the Garden State will now have the access to SunRun's unique solar energy services. After signing up for the service, homeowners will have solar panels from the company installed on their property to collect energy for costs as low as $500.

Following the installation costs, homeowners will only have to make monthly solar payments - which the company estimated to be approximately $50 for a 3-4 bedroom home - while having all monitoring, maintenance, and repair costs covered by the company as they power their home using solar energy.

"SunRun is making it possible for New Jersey homeowners to install solar for as little as $500 and begin saving money quickly," says Lynn Jurich, SunRun's president and cofounder. "Many homeowners want to go solar, but have been waiting for a solution that's simple, affordable and that they can trust. Together with our partners, we are bringing that solution to thousands of homeowners in New Jersey."

With the inclusion of New Jersey, SunRun will now offer solar power service in five states, having previously introduced their service to California, Arizona, Massachusetts, and Colorado.
