Constellation Energy singled out by AEE for New England projects

Posted 2 years ago in the Solar Energy category by Nate Lew
Two Massachusetts-based solar energy projects constructed by Constellation Energy have been singled out by the New England Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers as being the best in the region.

One solar energy project singled out by the AEE is currently being constructed in Foxboro at the home of the NFL's New England Patriors. Once completed, the 2,600 solar panel project will produce 525 kilowatts of photovoltaic solar energy, enough to power 30 percent of the Patriot Place retail area connected to Gillette Stadium.

The other project, located in Fall River, is located on the campus of Bristol Community College. Through conservation, energy-saving, and utilization of a solar power system, the project is expected to save the school more than $400,000 annually on energy costs

"Constellation Energy is honored that our energy projects have been recognized by the Association of Energy Engineers, New England Chapter," said Marc Aronson, New England business development manager for Constellation. "We're particularly pleased that the AEE-NE chose to highlight a solar installation and an energy efficiency project because they are indicative of our approach to sustainability that includes both conservation and deployment of renewable power sources."

The New England Chapter of the AEE currently consists of more than 11,000 energy professionals throughout the area. Constellation has almost 25 megawatts of solar energy systems installed across the country.
