According to the growing solar energy company, the Energy Committee of the National Black Chamber of Commerce has lent its endorsement to a solar demonstration project that is currently being being developed and constructed along with researchers at the Houston campus at Texas Southern University.
The endorsement was due to the university's status as a Historical Black University along with Evolution Solar's previous work with green energy as well as its contribution to minority executive advancement.
"We are very proud to be a part of receiving this distinguished national business endorsement," stated Robert Hines, president of Evolution Solar. "We will make every effort to continue achieving our leading edge goals in minority business development."
Th NBCC is committee to "economically empowering and sustaining African American communities" through entrepreneurship and capitalism. Headquartered in Washington D.C., the commerce's clients include Exxon, Wells Fargo, and AT&T.
