Beginning in the second quarter of 2010 Acro announced that it will be moving into a new facility in Tempe and "immediately" begin taking orders to install affordable solar energy systems.
"Arizona has the right fundamentals to make solar valuable for consumers and businesses," said Nat Kreamer, president of Acro Energy. "Just as weve built a leading solar integration business in California, we plan to be a leader in this fast growing, important solar market."
Additionally, through an agreement signed with SunRun Inc. last October, Acro will offer its services to existing SunRun customers and allow them to enter into a power purchase agreement that will enable them to switch to solar energy while not having to switch providers.
Arizona's field service and contractor license for Acro will be handled by Steve Vella, the company's director of business development. Harry Fleming, the company's CEO said that along with Vella's help expanding into Arizona, aquisition candidates would continue to be evaluated to help "create a profitable national solar integration company."
