According to American Solar Electric, which specializes in the design and installation of solar electric systems, one highlight of the plan will be a new central distribution facility to be located in Phoenix.
"Plans for expanding our operations have been in development for over a year and we believe making these moves will position the company for continued success in Arizona - now and into future years," said Sean Seitz, president and co-owner of American Solar Electric.
To accompany its current East Valley construction facility in Tempe, the company added that it is currently considering locations for a West Valley facility to be constructed in the near future. Other plans are said to include the creation of a new regional sales office in Tucson, as well as the establishment of a sales presence in Green Valley.
The announcement helps serve as an example of how solar energy can help people save money and help the environment while also boosting the economy through the creation of green jobs.
