In response to the city of San Diego’s solar permit rate increase from $93 to $565, Sequoia Solar will absorb the increase and pay the $472 difference through April 1, 2010.
“This was a no-brainer for us,” said Sequoia Solar CEO Marty Reed. He added, “There is so much momentum going with solar in San Diego right now that we want to do our part to keep that moving forward and keep solar within the reach of San Diego homeowners. This is our Sequoia Solar stimulus package so to speak.”
