An American trying his very best to be the first man to ride his bike around the world has much luck traveling during the day, according to Fox news.

Joseph Ascencao left Providence, Rhode Island on August 13. For the past nine months, he's been planning and researching the trip, which he believes will take as long as five years and 57,000 miles. Though he is eager about being the first man to accomplish the feat, he anticipates immigration issues in China and Afghanistan.
From Providence Ascencao headed south down the eastern seaboard. This past weekend he stayed with friends in Mobile, Alabama, where he ended up staying longer than he planned because he was waiting on the delivery of new tires. His bike is lugging his camping equipment.
From Alabama, his next long stop will be in Texas where he plans to meet with other friends. But, from that point, he'll be on his own until reaching Brazil.
